Arboricultural operations which cause partial or total obstruction of the Highways whether on the carriageway,
footway, cycleway, verge or hard shoulder require the contractor to have sufficient knowledge of signing, lighting
and guarding methods in order to minimize delays and minimize the risk of accidents, whilst maintaining
a safe environment for the general public, road user and those engaged with the works.

SALTEX is the launch pad for a new product aimed at arboricultural contractors working in all environments where
they may come into contact with the general public and are required to have warning signs displayed.
Comprising of eight demountable signs complete with information boards where applicable, the pack
aims to ensure Chapter 8 compliance for tree surgeons working on or near to the highway.
